Go Green and Switch to Renewable Energy

In the modern world, climate change has become a greater cause of concern. Renewable energy if used in a potential manner will reduce this effect. Renewable energy refers to the energy derived from natural occurring sources like sun, wind and water. This energy can be constantly replenished through these sources. This energy is often considered as environment friendly because it does not produce pollution.  This energy has become important, and its demand across the world is increasing.

The various forms of renewable energy are solar energy, wind energy, geothermal energy, hydro-power, bio mass and bio fuel. The Renewable Energy Technology is used to stabilize green house gas emissions. The energy from the sun is used for heating or generating electricity. The solar cells are used to convert solar energy into electrical energy. The collection of solar cells is known as solar panels. It is widely use technology to generate electricity. The blowing air is called wind which turns the blades of a windmill. Turning of the blades generates electricity. Windmills are installed at high altitudes where the speed of the wind is very high. Currently the largest source of energy is hydroelectric power. Hydroelectric power uses the kinetic energy of the flowing water to turn the turbine, this produces electricity. Geothermal energy is a technology in which heat energy from the earth core is used to generate electricity. The hot springs coming out from the earth core are used for electricity production.

In spite of many uses of we still rely on fossil fuels like coal and petroleum. It is a time when we should look for better options and switch to them because these fossil fuels will deplete out soon.
